Dynavour was established in 1990 to provide accommodation and support to people with mental illness. Since then it has grown and diversified. Our care and support services now extend to cover domiciliary care services, supported living and accommodation. We can support people with complex need and behavioural issues.
Our core values are to assure the dignity of all the people who use our services to support them to reach their full potential as much as possible and their individual aspirations for a good quality of life.
We are constantly endeavouring to develop solutions for difficult problems, and we continue to change our service delivery to constantly changing needs. We do this by working with peoples other support services including families and other carers.
Our passion for good services for the people we work with keeps us competitive and flexible to changing needs. We have good feedback from the people we support and their support networks.
To enable us to do this as part of our training:
- We encourage innovative practice amongst our staff
- We develop individualised approaches to care planning
- We encourage staff to evaluate their own performance
- We encourage shadowing of staff
- All staff undergo a rigorous interviewing process and induction
- Staff undertake mandatory training then go on to do NVQ2 and NVQ3
The Staff:
- Are committed to excellence
- Respect the privacy and dignity of the people we work with
- Respect the taking of risk
- Are patient and flexible even when faced with difficulties
